White South Sea Pearls

The Pinctada Maxima is one of the biggest of all oysters for culturing pearls and is the home for the stunning White and Golden South Sea cultured pearls. The South Seas are geographically positioned between the southern coast of Southeast Asia and the northern coast of Australia. South Sea pearls grow in Australia, Indonesia, the Phillipines, and Thailand.  The most distinguishable feature of these White Pearls are their size (average size is 13mm) versus white freshwater or akoya pearls that may average around 6-8mm.
